As the Slot Operations Manager you will manage slot staffing and scheduling, guest service standards, training, game performance analysis, adherence to federal, state, property and departmental rules and regulations as well as procedural integrity and administration. Reports to the General Manager.

To be successful in the role you must be able to:
• Create an atmosphere that encourages guests to return.
• Supervise the daily operations of the slot operations team.
• Hire, train, counsel and evaluate staff, ensuring team members receive the training, support, adequate guidance and necessary resources to accomplish established objectives.
• Discipline employees with the counsel and involvement of the GM and HR, in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed and maintained with the counsel and involvement of HR.
• Determine slot layout, machine types, locations, denominations and performance analytics.
• Observe, recognize and document irregularities on the gaming floor.
• Produce game performance reports.
• Review slot files and performance reports daily to ensure accuracy / compliance to expected standards, while resolving discrepancies according to regulations, policies and procedures.
• Analyze statistics on slot performance reports. Report findings to General Manager.
• Ensure game performance meets expectations while recommending any needed changes or actions.
• Ensure departmental budget is met.
• Ability to draft departmental policies and procedures with involvement and counsel of GM and HR.
• Ensure compliance with all state and departmental regulations.
• Remain alert to any unusual or questionable activities being displayed by any team member or player and investigate/report Suspicious Activities (SAR) immediately to General Manager.

Education:
• Prefer minimum five (5) years management experience within a slot or associated gaming operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills, Microsoft Outlook – email --, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel -- basic formulas and formatting -- and Word.

Licensing / Certification:
Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.
